Why not check out our Club Update or our Club Pics

Welcome to our homepage. Fulford is a small country village in the heart of Staffordshire and its Village Hall is the home of the Kaeshi Ryu Ju Jitsu Academy
on Tuesday evenings.

Ju Jitsu has been taught in the village for some 15 years, originally by Sensei Ed Tunstall 2nd dan and more recently by Sensei Darron Fleming 2nd dan. The recently reformed Junior class is doing well with most of the kids coming from the village itself.

The senior class however is a little different. Only one member actually comes from Fulford, the rest travel here from nearby towns. Sensie Darrons' teaching style is direct and disciplined yet never laborious or repetitive. Students are actively encouraged to evolve and adapt their techniques from the established framework of knowledge whilst being ever mindful of the basics. A high regard for safety, etiquette and mutal respect is expected of all students at all times, as well as the requirement to learn all of the Japanese terminology.

Our club session times are:

Every Tuesday (inc. holidays)

Junior Class     6pm - 7.15pm

Senior Class    7.15 - 9.00pm (sometimes extended till 9.30)

Juniors pay £2.50    Seniors pay £3.50

Annual membership fees are:

Juniors    £15 p.a.    Seniors    £25 p.a.

Anyone is welcome to come and watch us train, just pull up a chair and keep quiet. For your first few lessons just wear comfortable, loose clothing - obviously something old as it may get ripped. No jewellery is to be worn, any permanent piercings must be covered by a plaster and long hair must be tied back.
